Stria prices the workspace, not the people in it. You are never charged per client, per reviewer, or per client who signs something. Clients and collaborators who only review and approve work never need an account, so they never appear on your bill.
What the free plan includes
Free is a standing plan, not a trial. It does not expire and it does not ask for a card.
- 3 clients
- 6 deliverables per month
- 1 seat
- 20 AI actions per month, including scope classification
- Document templates, and the full email-verified sign-off record
Two things are worth stating plainly. Scope classification — the mechanism that decides whether a request is minor polish or a structural change — is available on the free plan rather than held back for paid. And free workspaces carry a small “Made with Stria” mark on the pages your clients see; that mark is removed from $19 upward.
The paid plans
- Freelancer Solo — $19/month, or $190/year. You plus one collaborator. Unlimited clients and deliverables. Your logo and colours on every client page, with no Stria mark. API access, webhooks, and task handoff to Asana or Linear. Recurring and automatic draft invoices. 100 AI actions per month.
- Freelancer Studio — $39/month, or $390/year. Up to 5 team members, per-collaborator cost rates and margin, higher API throughput, 300 AI actions per month, priority support.
- Freelancer Agency — $79/month, or $790/year. Up to 15 team members, portfolio delivery controls, the highest API throughput, 600 AI actions per month.
Yearly billing is ten months for twelve. Every paid plan lifts the client and deliverable caps entirely — the monthly AI allotment and the team size, not a volume limit, are what change with the tier.
API access is on every paid plan
This is stated separately because it used to be otherwise. API tokens and webhooks are included from the $19 plan upward; what scales with the tier is throughput, published as 60, 120 and 300 requests per minute rather than left to be discovered as a failure. Free and trial workspaces cannot mint tokens.
How the trial works, precisely
The free plan needs no card. A paid plan starts with a 14-day trial that does collect a card, because it runs through Stripe Checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe’s own pages and never touch Stria. To evaluate Stria without giving a card, use the free plan.
What flat pricing rules out
- No per-seat charge for clients. Review and sign-off happen through a passwordless link.
- No platform fee on money you collect. Invoices run through your own connected Stripe account, and that account is the merchant of record.
- No charge per signature or per document.
What counts as an AI action
One AI action is one request you make of the model — classifying a client request against a locked baseline, summarising a deliverable’s feedback, or drafting a reply. Re-opening a verdict you already have costs nothing. Allotments are monthly and enforced server-side, so the number on the card is the number you get.
Questions people actually ask
Does the free plan expire? No. It has caps, not a clock.
What happens when I hit a cap? The action is refused at the database with an upgrade hint naming the resource. Nothing you already created is touched, hidden or deleted.
Do my clients need to pay or sign up? Neither. They open a link, comment, and approve with an emailed one-time code.
Can I cancel? Yes, from the Stripe billing portal. A cancelled workspace stops allowing new work but keeps your existing records readable and exportable.
